About me...
I have been using Pentax 35mm and 6x7 equipment since the mid 80's. Photography and astronomy are my hobbies. I have a C8D, C5+ and a C90. Bought my first telescope, orange tube C8, in 1979 +/-). I am not as skilled in astronomy as I should be by now. Seems like the last few years I have been buying more photo and astronomy equipment and using it less.
I work for a petroleum engineering and consulting company. I am the contracts manager but I mostly do other work such as administrative functions, operational work and network support. I might best be titled "technical advisor" or even "Jack of All Trades". I have worked in the oilfield over 30 years.
